Happy Learning Childcare Centre exists to provide a secure, accessible and innovative style of child care for all children. In the midst of a changing society where there is cultural diversity, parents in continuing education, either unemployed or in the labor force. Happy Learning Children Center will continually seek to meet the changing needs of parents and the surrounding demography.
Happy Learning Childcare Centre will continually pursue a pleasant rewarding atmosphere for its employees and volunteers where they will be afforded opportunities for creative vision and constructive input into the operation of the child care facility.
Happy Learning Childcare Centre will endeavor to become and remain a fine example for other childcare Centers to pattern them-self after.
Philosophy
We believe
Children are active, curious and capable individuals and that they learn best through play. Our program is designed to challenge and develop further each child on a daily basis. They will show improvement in social skills, emotional wellbeing, Intellectual development and physical growth. Children will be encouraged to learn through creative and cooperative learning, discovering awareness of themselves, their talents and abilities. By providing opportunities to actively interact through play and positive learning each child will foster a positive attitude toward self and their peers.
The group childcare setting is an opportunity for building into each child the knowledge
and experience for a family support system. As well as activities among the children,
partnership with parents/guardians will prove to produce healthy social skills and peace of mind for the child’s welfare. With all of these aspects in place it is our desire to see the future development of the whole child.

Operating Time:
The center operates five days (Monday to Friday) in a week from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except for the listed statutory holidays:
New Year’s Day; Family Day; Good Friday; Easter Monday; Victoria Day; Canada Day; BC Day; Labor Day; National Day for Truth and Reconciliation; Thanksgiving; Remember Day; Christmas Day; Boxing Day
Staff:
All staffs are Early Childhood Educators, licensed with the Ministry & Children Family Development or are in the process of obtaining this standing.
